Trelawney: Suspect Seer



Professor Sybill Trelawney served as Hogwarts’ Divination teacher, famous for her dramatic predictions—most of which never came true. Yet, during a cartomancy session, she unknowingly delivered one of the most accurate prophecies in wizarding history. Her cards revealed ominous signs: the Two of Spades (conflict), Seven of Spades (ill omen), Ten of Spades (violence), Knave of Spades (a dark young man), and finally the Lightning-Struck Tower. Though she didn’t realize it at the time, these symbols foretold the epic struggle between Harry and Voldemort, Dumbledore’s tragic death, and ultimately Voldemort’s downfall.

  Welcome to the 2025 Slytherin Sock Syndicate Advent Sock Our team is busy getting ready for December and our 10th annual sock MKAL  While we finish up november we wanted to give you a few bits and pieces. Clues aka sections will be released daily here on the Blog from the 1-24th December our team are in different parts of the world so we ask for patience if it takes a little longer to go up, but we're hoping to have them up as early in the day as possible. Day 24 Mistletoe is an Ingredient in the Antidote to Most Poisons and the Forgetfulness Potion. Mistletoe is used as Christmas decoration and was part of the decorations in the Room of Requirement just before the Christmas holidays. Luna remarked that Nargles frequently infest mistletoe. Later, Harry and Cho Chang were alone under the mistletoe, and this time Harry brought up Nargles out of nervousness, but Cho laughed and they kissed. The Lovegoods have mistletoe growing on either side of their front door with a sign saying “PICK YOUR OWN MISTLETOE”.
