Day 1 - Whomping Willow

 Our first foray into the study of Herbology is the Whomping Willow. Planted in 1971 (the same year Remus Lupin arrived at Hogwarts), this tree has protected many a dark secret at Hogwarts. The tree will violently hit anything that comes near it, though there is a specific knot that - when pushed - will temporarily paralyze the tree. Its silvery bark is a stark contrast to the secrets that it hides. If you wish to use today’s color prompts, choose a silvery grey color for the tree and a dark mysterious color for the background.   Welcome to the 2025 Slytherin Sock Syndicate Advent Sock Our team is busy getting ready for December and our 10th annual sock MKAL  While we finish up november we wanted to give you a few bits and pieces. Clues aka sections will be released daily here on the Blog from the 1-24th December our team are in different parts of the world so we ask for patience if it takes a little longer to go up, but we're hoping to have them up as early in the day as possible. Day 2 - Bellatrix Lestrange: Mistress of Mayhem

 Bellatrix was known for being one of Lord Voldemort's most fervent followers. As a member of a prestigious pureblood family, she had nothing but contempt for Muggles and Mud Bloods alike. She regularly wore her crow skull pendant and was known for being a master when weilding her walnut wand. Prompt 23 Rounds on SOCK B Knit CHART  on SOCK B.
