Leo is one of the constellations of the zodiac, between Cancer the crab to the west and Virgo the maiden to the east. It is located in the Northern celestial hemisphere. Its name is Latin for lion, and to the ancient Greeks represented the Nemean Lion killed by the mythical Greek hero Heracles as one of his twelve labors. Its old astronomical symbol is (leo︎). One of the 48 constellations described by the 2nd-century astronomer Ptolemy, Leo remains one of the 88 modern constellations today, and one of the most easily recognizable due to its many bright stars and a distinctive shape that is reminiscent of the crouching lion it depicts. Using an Orange (or your chosen colour) and White to represent this fire constellation and a contrasting dark colour, knit the CHART linked. For toe up socks , remember to start at the bottom right hand corner and for cuff down socks start at the top left corner. OR using the colours knit your rounds in helical knitting. Size 72, knit the entire chart. Size 68, knit to the one pink line marked at 34. Size 62, knit from both pink lines marked at 3 to 34.

  Welcome to the 2025 Slytherin Sock Syndicate Advent Sock Our team is busy getting ready for December and our 10th annual sock MKAL  While we finish up november we wanted to give you a few bits and pieces. Day 2 - Bellatrix Lestrange: Mistress of Mayhem

 Bellatrix was known for being one of Lord Voldemort's most fervent followers. As a member of a prestigious pureblood family, she had nothing but contempt for Muggles and Mud Bloods alike.
